Green Magnitude + Purple Wraath Stack On Sale!

Filed under: Supplements — admin @ 5:04 pm

A great way to supplement a solid workout routine and diet is by using creatine and essential amino acids to fuel our workouts and provide the ideal anabolic environment for muscle growth. Green Magnitude creatine by Controlled Labs is an excellent creatine cocktail supplement. Click here to read my review of Green Magnitude. But adding in an essentail amino acid supplement will add to the power of the creatine and supercharge your workouts. Essential amino acids are needed in the body and can not be made from other amino acids (protein) that we eat during the day. When flooding your system with EAAs you will bathe your muscle tissues in a super highly anabolic environment that will energize you and give you that extra energy to lift. It will also start the muscle building repair process immediately instead of having your body wait around for the slow trickle of amino acids that come from digesting whole food. Drinking a EAA supplement such as Purple Wraath by Controlled Labs floods the body with amino acids and gives the nutrients necessary for anabolic muscle growth. Research has shown that these amino acids are connected to high rates of muscle growth!

Right now they are selling in a special stack package for $90.25 saving $89.70 over the retail price of $179.95! It includes 80 servings of Green Magnitude creatine and 90 servings of Purple Wraath amino acid blend.

You can find the stack at the special discounted price at My Supplement Store.com

Lean FX Cortisol Control by Anabolic Xtreme!

Filed under: Diet, Supplements — admin @ 7:23 pm

Lean FX - Cortisol Control to Lose Fat!

Lean FX designed by Anabolic Xtreme has hit the market place and it appears that it is going to be a great fat loss product! The product is designed as a “3rd generation leaning agent” with these effects:

Accelerated leaning effects and muscle tone
Heightened wakefulness and fatigue reduction
Preservation of lean muscle mass
Xtreme fat loss

Basically Lean FX controls and lowers cortisol which is a major fat storage hormone as well as a muscle waster in the human body (in excess, but everyone still needs some cortisol to function correctly) It is in the same group of fat burner products such as Lean Xtreme (which has since been discontinued due to the company that created it shutting down, but it is going to reappear under a new company called Driven Sports) Cortisol is released under periods of high stress such as working out hard, fighting with the wife, stress at your job and school, etc. It can wreck havoc on one’s physique and controlling it can help transform your body and health!

Cortisol control targets midsection fat which is usually super stubborn on males. It is also the most unhealthiest fat to have an over abundance of on the human body! Plus it makes seeing them abs pretty damn difficult ;)

I won a free bottle of Lean FX in a lottery contest :D I will be writing a weekly review of it once I start using it during my cut in the spring.

More information can be found at the Lean FX website!

Is 5K calories sugar WORSE than 5K calories salmon/broccoli?

Filed under: Diet, General — admin @ 7:13 pm

I wanted to let everyone see a really cool thread I came across on the bodybuilding.com forums, Alan Aragon discusses the differences between 5,000 calories of all sugar compared to 5,000 calories of protein/veggies. The thread is already at 10+ pages and has some very interesting responses! Grab a protein shake and head over to “5k calories sugar worse than 5k calories salmon/broccoli” thread to read more!!

Sorry guys about going two months without an update here, I really need to start pushing content 7-10x a week!!

Congrats to Dexter Jackson - 2008 Mr. O!

Filed under: General — admin @ 6:14 pm

I’m here to give a shout out to Dexter Jackson who won the 2008 Mr. Olympia contest in Las Vegas, Nevada Orleans Arena and Las Vegas Convention Center over the weekend! He took the crown away from prior Mr. Olympian Jay Cutler who won the Olympia contest the past 2 years.

Top 5 Placings:
1.) Dexter Jackson
2.) Jay Cutler
3.) Phil Heath
4.) Dennis Wolf
5.) Toney Freeman

This is Dexter’s best year of his career in my opinion, with his Mr. O win and first place finishes in all of his other pro competitons that he entered. (Arnold Classic, IFBB Australia Pro Grand Prix VIII, and IFBB New Zealand Grand Elite Pro). He is sponsered by MuscleTech.

Enter here for a chance to win a 2008 Dodge Charger, courtesy of Prolab’s “Charging Forward” promotion!
